We’re looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Data QA to join the team of our client — a technology company focused on extracting and structuring large volumes of information from publicly available online resources.

The company builds systems that continuously collect and process data from multiple sources, including large volumes of documents. These documents often contain financial information, come in different formats, and may be scanned or have inconsistent quality.

This role focuses on data validation, analysis of extraction results, and identifying patterns in data failures to continuously improve the extraction process.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze large volumes of extracted financial data
  • Identify patterns in failed or incorrect data extraction
  • Investigate root causes of data inconsistencies and validation failures
  • Work with thousands of documents with varying formats and quality
  • Define and document clear validation criteria and test cases
  • Collaborate closely with Python developers to improve extraction logic
  • Run and monitor data validation and testing processes
  • Analyze failed datasets and provide actionable insights to improve data accuracy
  • Ensure high standards of data quality and consistency

What candidates need to be successful

  • 4+YoE working as a Data Analyst, Data QA, or Data Quality Specialist
  • English level — B2+
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify patterns
  • Experience defining validation criteria and test cases
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working with financial data or structured datasets
  • Experience reviewing large document sets or extracted data
  • Ability to work closely with developers to improve data quality
  • Comfortable running and analyzing data tests and validation processes
