About the role
As a SAP Developer specializing in ABAP/4, you will take on a pivotal role within our organization, leveraging your expertise to design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions. Your pivotal contribution will significantly shape the development of our core products, with your technical proficiency and communication abilities serving as key factors in project success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging assignments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay at the forefront of SAP technology.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the development, modification, and maintenance of SAP solutions using ABAP/4 and OData services, ensuring alignment with functional and technical requirements.
- Enhance existing SAP applications by introducing new features, optimizing code, and addressing technical challenges to improve overall performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather, understand, and translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all development activities, encompassing code, technical specifications, and configuration details.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring seamless operations.
- Participate in and conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay current with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and industry best practices, contributing insights and recommendations for project enhancements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of SAP Developer experience, with a specialization in ABAP/4 development.
- B2 English level or higher
- Robust technical grasp of SAP solutions and development methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal proficiencies, enabling effective collaboration within global teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- SAP certifications are desirable, but not obligatory.
