Senior Android Engineer (Relocation to Paris)
French Top 1 fast-growing social network company is seeking an Android Principal Engineer to join.
Please note that this position requires relocation to Paris (company covers relocation needs).
You will participate in all design and product decisions in this fast-growing product company.
You will collaborate closely with the founding team, gradually assuming responsibility for key components and features. As we’re in the early stages, we’re looking for adaptable engineers comfortable contributing to different aspects of the company’s groundwork.
As a Senior Android Engineer, you will:
- Develop innovative UI features, utilizing low-level APIs and custom rendering.
- Contribute to platform enhancement, including code libraries and analytics systems.
- Collaborate on roadmap creation and ideation.
- Share knowledge through staying updated and engaging internally and externally.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of developer experience, with at least 5 years in native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
- Strong understanding of computer systems fundamentals (e.g., program execution, linking, multithreading).
- Experience in low-level languages like C, C++, or Rust is highly advantageous.
- Experience in Graphics Programming using APIs such as OpenGL, Vulkan, or Metal.
- Demonstrated passion and experience in building consumer-facing products.
- English B2+ is a must!
