Senior Rust BackEnd Engineer (Relocation to Paris)

French Top 1 fast-growing social network company is seeking a Principal Rust BackEnd Engineer to join their team.

Please note that this position requires relocation to Paris (company covers relocation needs).

At the company, the BackEnd team handles both server-side and client backbone responsibilities, believing in the efficiency of managing both ends.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating high-traffic systems using cutting-edge technologies.
• Overseeing the Rust-based core for iOS and Android apps, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Contributing to brainstorming sessions to implement market-leading features.
• Staying updated on industry trends and contributing to our culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 8+ years in professional BackEnd software development
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Rust
• Proven track record in deploying and managing distributed systems in real-world environments, such as Redpanda/Kafka or ScyllaDB/Cassandra
• Well-defined knowledge of perspectives on product development within the consumer social sector.
• English B2+ is a must!
